Acid Washed Carbon: |
Reduces unpleasant taste and odors, chlorine, and color. |
Coconut Shell Carbon: |
Superior reduction unpleasant taste and odors, chlorine, and color. |
Calcite: |
This media is used in filters after RO units. These filters will re-mineralize the water. Usually will return pH to 7. |
Softening/Deionizing Resin: |
These resins will reduce hardness or TDS levels. |
Phosphate: |
This media is a sequestrant and is used to reduce scale or hardness deposits. |
KDF55: |
Dramatically improves filter life in the reduction of chlorine. Also tends to prevent bacteria growth. |
Specialty Filters Arsenic Cartridges
- Aries Filterworks Technologies, Inc. is the POU arsenic removal solution.
- This is an effective granular chemical absorption media specifically designed to remove both forms of arsenic from drinking water.
- The media is listed under NSF standard 61 for drinking water applications.
- These cartridges have been designed specifically for point of use and point of entry whole house drinking water applications.
- The product has proven performance for removing arsenic, excellent kinetics, and a wide range of applicability.
- Ideal for arsenic 3 and 5 removal at pH levels 5.5 - 8.5.
- Reduces Pb, Zu, and other heavy metals.
- Improves taste and odor.
- Does not leach harmful chemicals into the product water.
